As you know, we’ve been working on a submission to Your Fund Surrey, a huge local fund set up by Surrey County Council to enable local communities and organisations to fund some exciting community-based projects.

We have now submitted our formal funding application for the Limpsfield Way walk and community cycle route, and over the next 3 weeks we need as much community support as possible and are asking you for your input to ensure success of our bid. Improving broadband connectivity in rural areas

The Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) wants to hear views and experiences of consumers’ broadband connectivity in rural and remote areas of the UK. There is currently an online survey which forms part of a consultation about the issue.

Given much of the Limpsfield parish area is rural and there are certainly broadband and mobile signal issues in the rural areas, Limpsfield Chart etc, it would be useful if you could take the online survey using the link below (of course you need to be able to get onto the internet to do this… hmmm…could be a flaw 😉 )

LPC Bid for Surrey’s Your Fund to create the ‘Limpsfield Way’ walk and cycle route

As part of our ongoing Neighbourhood Plan endeavours to create better walking and cycling routes for the area, we have put in a bid for a way-marked family friendly walking route and separate ‘there and back’ cycle route from Limpsfield Chart to Limpsfield Village.
